The Simmers Club; Just past a Year! Part II
In the last issue of the Blabbity, I had interviewed CJ and he responded with some great stuff. The article on The Simmers Club was getting so long, and with me barely done with it, I decided to turn it into a 2-issue thing. We had just left off midway between Kimikay's interview.
Kimikay, a Global Mod at The Simmers Club, didn't become mod overnight. No, she was first introduced to the site from another simmer Vice, who is also a Global Mod at TSC. "One day I went to his SimPage and he had The Simmers Club mentioned in his blog. So I had to check it out. Anything that Vice liked and endorsed was something worth checking on," she said. And thats when it all stared for Kimikay. "I couldn't get over how friendly everyone is....I found it easy to get around on. Then I found the chat. Well, the rest is history as far as that goes. I love being in the chat." And Kimikay's love for the site is one of the things that makes her such a great mod.
So what does Kimi like about the site? "Other than it being one of the best fan sites around, the people. You just can't find nicer and more caring people. Everyone watches out for the next guy. Almost like a family." And it is, The Simmers Club really is one giant family. "CJ has done such a wonderful job on TSC. He devotes his time and trouble to us and asks nothing in return. His devotion to us and this forum amazes me on a daily basis. Tink is awesome. She's kind and understanding and so much fun to work with. Vice has a speacial place in my heart. He's the one who "made" me join and I'm so glad he did. All of the staff here is wonderful. You really couldn't find better anywhere." Tink is the Cheif Moderator and Community Manager, for your reference. She too is a big help to the site. It's no wonder that Kimikay has been chosen as Staff member of the Month for February. She's a great Global Mod who truly cares about the site, and she does a great job at what she does. (See entertainment page for more)
New Editions to the Paper
If this is the first issue of the Blabbity that you have read, then you won't notice anything different. However to all you returning readers you've probably noticed the new page editions. We have added 3 new pages to the paper so that you get the most of your reading experience.
Home and Garden. This new page will bring you helpful tips and tricks for building homes on the sims 2. It will also give you gardening tips helpful for all of you simmers with seasons.
The Business and Economics page is there to help you and you're sims when looking at jobs, money, and business. This can be helpful for everyone and simmers with Open For Business may especially benefit from this new section.
And finally, the Simiscope. Not like a normal horoscope, which sims do have, this is more of an Aspirationscope. This page of the paper is where you can find the aspiration of the week and helpful perks that go with said aspiration.
